Sales promotion is the short-term incentive to the trade or
consumer to induce purchase of the product. Sales promotion is short-term
incentive to encourage purchase or sale of a product or service.
Sales promotion is an activity or material that offers
consumers, sales persons or resellers a direct inducement for purchasing a
product. Sales promotion refers to those promotion activities other than
advertising, publicity and personal selling-which stimulates interest, trial or
purchase by final customers or others in the channel. Sales promotion are those
activities others than personal selling, advertising and publicity that
stimulate consumer purchasing and dealer effectiveness.
