1) Face-to-Face selling: Direct selling is the selling of goods or services to consumers through personal demonstration and explanation. 

2) Telemarketing: Telemarketing consists of using the telephone to sell directly to consumers.

3) Direct mail marketing: Direct mail marketing involves sending an offer, announcement, reminder or other item to a person at a particular address.

4) Catalog marketing: Catalog marketing is direct marketing through print, video or electronic catalogs that are mailed to select customers, made available in stores or presented online.

5) Direct-response television marketing: Direct response television marketing consists of direct marketing via television, including direct response television advertising or in commercials and home shopping channels.

6) Booth marketing: Booths are information and ordering machines that direct marketers place in stores, airports and other locations.

7) Online marketing: Online marketing is conducted through interactive online computer systems, which link consumers with sellers electronically.
